Canon Malaysia — Penang Yosakoi Parade
A parade means no second takes and no control over anything. Dance teams moving through a crowd, in daylight that shifts every few minutes, with the whole thing over when it is over.
Different discipline entirely from a launch event. The work is anticipating where the moment will happen rather than arranging one — reading the formation, picking the position, and being there before the beat lands rather than after.
