Ahmed & Stacey — A Beach Wedding at Avillion Resort, Port Dickson

Ahmed and Stacey chose the water chalets and open coastline of Avillion Resort in Port Dickson for their wedding on January 4, 2018 — a setting built for aerial coverage, and we made the most of it from the opening frame.

The film opens with sweeping drone footage over the shoreline and chalets, before settling into the quieter moments of the morning: wedding attire laid out, pearl-embellished sandals, floral arrangements, and candid preparation as the couple got ready. By late afternoon we were on the sand itself, where a wooden arch and rows of white chairs faced the water for a ceremony that combined close, handheld coverage of the vow exchange with the traditional Islamic marriage blessing — Barakallahu lakuma — spoken by the officiant.

A father-of-the-bride speech, captured live and layered over footage of family celebrating, led into the reception: a confetti-lined aisle walk, cake cutting, and a beachside night party under a covered marquee that carried on long after sunset.

From quiet morning prep to a full evening of celebration on the sand, this is full-day wedding coverage built around a real event and a real Malay wedding tradition, shot the way it actually unfolded.
